The ESL One New York 2016 was a tournament in the e-sports discipline Counter-Strike: Global Offensive , which took place from September 30th to October 2nd, 2016 in the Barclays Center in New York . The tournament prize pool was $ 250,000. The tournament was played in the Swiss system followed by a knockout system . The winner of the tournament was the Natus Vincere team .
In addition, with The Brooklyn Beatdown , the ESL organized another event parallel to the CS: GO tournament, which was played in the Street Fighter V game .
