Eberhard Thulesius
Eberhard Olav Johann Thulesius (born September 25, 1839 in Bremen , † May 9, 1913 in Bremen) was a German doctor .
biography
Thulesius was the son of the Bremen doctor Johann Eberhard Thulesius (1802-1854) who lived in Bremen Domsheide No. 4. He studied 1816-1821 medicine at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Tübingen and received his doctorate Dr. med. in Heidelberg . He founded his practice in Bremen like his father on the Domsheide. He was also a railway doctor and poor doctor in neighboring districts. He diagnosed with certainty and at an early stage also included the spiritual aspect in his medicine.
As a musical person he played the violin and wrote poetry and verse. Became known as an eccentric and Bremen original with a strong sense of humor. The publisher Anton Kippenberg wrote about him in his memoirs.
