Eberhart Schindewolf

Eberhart Schindewolf (born December 18, 1925 in Marburg ; † April 23, 2011 ) was a German engineer and manager .

Eberhart Schindewolf was the son of the paleontologist Otto Heinrich Schindewolf . He studied mining engineering and was managing director of BEB Erdgas und Erdöl from 1974 to 1987 . In 1980, Lilienthal Z1 , the deepest German well at 6,775 meters , fell during his tenure .

He was also chairman of the Hanover Industry Club from 1984 to 1992 . He was made an honorary senator of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hanover .
