Location of Ebing in Bavaria

Ebing is a district of the town of Waldkraiburg in the Mühldorf am Inn district with around 200 inhabitants. From the small village of Ebing, it is around seven kilometers to the center of Waldkraiburg.

The district is located in the Bavarian Alpine foothills between Waldkraiburg and Mühldorf on the bank of a bend in the river Inn .

In Ebing six objects have been placed under monument protection and published in the list of monuments for Waldkraiburg , including the catholic branch church St. Martin from the 15th century with a steeple.

particularities

In 1971, which was in Ebing skeleton of a Urelefanten from the Tertiary discovered. The skeleton was found by chance near the Inn and was finally completely excavated. The valuable find is completely preserved and is exhibited in the Paleontological Museum in Munich .
