Crespano del Grappa is a fraction of the northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) Pieve del Grappa in the province of Treviso in Veneto .
geography
The place is about 36 kilometers northwest of Treviso at the foot of Monte Grappa not far from the border with the province of Vicenza .
history
Established between the 11th and 13th centuries, the Ezzelini initially ruled the town and the surrounding area. Crespano del Grappa was an independent municipality until January 30, 2019 and has since formed the new municipality of Pieve del Grappa with the also dissolved municipality of Paderno del Grappa.
