Ebourodounon , in Latin Eburodunum ( Greek  Ἐβουρόδουνον ), is a place name in the Geographia of Claudius Ptolemaios as one of the places in the Germania magna along the Danube (πόλεις) with 39 ° 00 ′ longitude ( Ptolemaic longitudes ) and 48 ° 00 'Width is specified. According to Ptolemy, Ebourodounon lies between Phelikia and Andouaition . Because of the age of the source, the existence of the place around 150 AD can be assumed.

So far the place could not be located safely. An interdisciplinary research team led by Andreas Kleineberg, who re-examined the information provided by Ptolemy, is currently locating Ebourodounon based on the transformation of the ancient coordinates at today's Oberleiserberg in the Lower Austrian district of Korneuburg .
