The music group Echte Kerle is a German a cappella band that mostly sings its own German compositions. Occasionally they sing a cover or underlay an original with new lyrics. The band was founded in 2002 in Kassel .
General
The real guys are students and former students of the music department at the University of Kassel . There they worked out an individual profile, which now contributes to the different styles of this a cappella ensemble. Her songs range between social and political cabaret , comedy and catchy pop literature .
They won the Ward Swingle Silver Award at the international a cappella competition vokal.total.2004 in Graz .
Members
- Peter Scholz (born July 20, 1976 in Fulda ) is a high tenor . He works as a music producer in Fulda and is responsible for Bonifatius - Das Musical ( musical of the year 2005) and Elisabeth - The legend of a saint , among others .
- Frank Lötzer (born March 18, 1967 in Bad Arolsen ) is second tenor, lyricist and song composer for most of the songs. He also contributes the mouth percussion in many songs .
- Mirko Moeller (born September 20, 1977 in Fulda ) is a baritone . He arranges most of the band's songs.
- Axel Fink (born October 24, 1967 in Wiesbaden as Michael Fink ) is the second baritone and takes care of the right choreography .
- Björn Schmidt (born May 22, 1976 in Kassel ) is the bass .
Discography
- In 2003 the Maxi Kassel was released , a homage to her hometown, to which the song Carpet was added as a bonus track .
- In May 2005 the album Alles was du Wollen was released with 13 German original compositions. As a Europe-wide innovation, it includes a ten-page Digi-Pac.
- The Uni Kassel Song , a commissioned composition for the University of Kassel , was published in February 2006 as part of a maxi CD with three other songs.
- The album Damensauna was released on June 19, 2009 .
