Eckart Bücken (* 1943 in Berlin ) is a deacon , author and editor.

life and work

Eckart Bücken trained as a community helper. After working full-time in church youth work and in camping pastoral care for some time, he studied social studies. Afterwards he was a consultant for cultural education at the Akademie Remscheid and in the church office for youth work in Düsseldorf . In 1996 he went (with his wife and two daughters) to Faßberg in the Lüneburg Heath . He worked as a deacon and choirmaster. He has been retired since 2007 and continues to work as a freelance writer. Bücken is the lyricist of many new sacred songs and co-author of a beat mass . He is also the author and publisher of non-fiction and specialist books, anthologies, various publications and records. For many years he was chairman of the working group music in the Evangelical Youth eV and is a member of the lyricists and composers group TAKT .
