In 1994 the group was expanded to include the automation division and manufactured the first special machines and transfer lines for series production. In 1995 Eckerle Bt. Hungary became general importer for Bosch Rexroth Montagetechnik Hungary. In 1997 the general agency for VisiControl and Schmidt Technology followed. By taking over individual business areas of the Schunk Group, the Eckerle Group was able to grow in 2011 with two additional locations in Bóly , Hungary and Olbernhau . In addition, the establishment in Zhuhai , China led to the first location in Asia. A second location was inaugurated in Mexico in 2012 as the company expanded.
