Eckhard Börner

Eckhard Börner (born January 16, 1951 in Colmnitz ) is a German engineer and politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Eckhard Börner visited the POS in Miltitz and the EOS in Meißen , where he passed his Abitur in 1969. After studying at the Bergakademie Freiberg , he became a Dipl-Ing. for mining and processing machines. After completing his studies, he worked at VEB Metallaufnahm Dresden from 1973 to 1975 and at the VEB motorcycle factory in Zschopau from 1976 to 1984 .

Eckhard Börner is an Evangelical Lutheran, married and has a daughter.

Eckhard Börner joined the block party Christian Democratic Union of Germany and had been mayor of the municipality of Witzschdorf in the Ore Mountains since 1984 . After the turn , he was in February 1990 Chairman of the CDU district association Zschopau and after the first free elections in 1990 leader of the CDU in the council Zschopau . In the first free state elections in Saxony in October 1990, he was elected to the state parliament for constituency 67 (Zschopau - Annaberg II) with 57.3% of the vote. After the incorporation of Witzschdorf into Gornau he was elected mayor of Witzschdorf, which office he held until the local council dissolved itself in September 2009. From 1994 to 2015 Eckhard Börner was the chairman of the Wildenstein administrative association and honorary secretary in the Grünhainichen trade association . Since 1977 he has been a member of the Witzschdorf Carnival Association (WKV).
