Eckhard Jaschinski

Eckhard Jaschinski SVD (born May 11, 1952 in Leverkusen ) is a German religious priest and theologian .

Life

From 1972 to 1975 he worked as a mathematical-technical assistant at Bayer AG . From 1975 he completed his novitiate and theology studies at the PTH Sankt Augustin . He made his first profession in 1977 and was ordained a priest in 1983. At the Theological Faculty of Paderborn he completed a 1983-1990 PhD studies . He did a pastoral internship in the USA from 1991 to 1994. Since 1994 he has taught liturgical science and homiletics at the PTH St. Augustin (since 1996 professor ) . After completing his habilitation in 1999 at the PTH Vallendar , he held teaching positions (2001–2003) at the University of Siegen , since 2002 at the St. Lambert Study House and 2007–2013 at the PTH Münster .

He has been a member of UNIVERSA LAUS since 1983 . International study group for song and music in the liturgy .
