Ed is a place ( tätort ) in the Swedish province of County of Västra Götaland and the historical province of Dalsland . The place also forms the main town of the municipality of Dals-Ed .
Located between the lakes Stora Le and Lilla Le in Dalsland's north-west, Ed is above all a tourist destination that has been known for nature, relaxation and leisure activities since the beginning of the 20th century. Ed owns a border station on the Norgebanan to Oslo.
