Edasich ("hyena") is the proper name of the star ι Draconis ( Iota Draconis ). Iota Draconis is a giant of the spectral class K2 and has an apparent magnitude of 3.31 mag. About 100 light years away, it is orbited by at least one exoplanet , which was discovered in 2001 and officially named Hypatia by the IAU in 2015 .
