Edei , an acronym for Emma Deigman , is a British pop singer and singer-songwriter who was born in Buckinghamshire around 1989 . Her debut single In My Bed was released on July 12, 2010 by Alma Recordings, followed by Loved on January 16, 2011. She is currently (February 2011) working on her first album, which will be released in early 2011. She works with Conner Reeves , who has also written pieces for Joss Stone, Ava Leigh and Tina Turner. She gained live appearances as a singer and chart successes with the group Girls Aloud .

According to her own statements in an interview, she made her first appearance as a singer at the age of six and names Rod Stewart as the singer who influenced her . At seven, she appeared in Les Miserables , with 13 she had a role in the film Last Orders (Dt. Last round ) with Bob Hoskins and Michael Caine .

A hallmark of the singer are acoustic versions of her own or adapted songs, in which she is only accompanied by bass or guitar; A wooden box or an imitation with the mouth or vocal apparatus ( vocal percussion ) serve as drums .

Private

Edei has been in a relationship with actor James Marsden since 2015.
