Edem Komlan Franck Atsou (born August 1, 1978 in Lomé ) is a Togolese football player .

Franck Atsou, who played for Étoile Filante de Lomé in his home country in his youth , began his professional career in Ghana with Asante Kotoko . After a detour to Africa Sports National in Ivory Coast , he returned before moving to Al-Hilal in 2003. In the 2004/05 season he tried his hand at KVV Heusden-Zolder , then playing in the Jupiler League , in Belgium , but returned after just one season. From summer 2006 he played in Iran with Abu Moslem Mashhad and, since 2008, with Persepolis Tehran .

Franck Atsou made his debut on November 3, 1996 for the Togolese national team . For his country he also took part in the 2006 World Cup, but was not used. On June 13, he was nominated for Karim Guédé , who sustained a back injury.
