Edgar Kurz (sports official)
Edgar Kurz (born September 12, 1941 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt ) is a German entrepreneur who is the managing director of the insurance agency R & H Schmid . He was also the president of the Stuttgarter Kickers and a player and coach at SV Sillenbuch .
In Degerloch grown independent insurance salesman exercised many honorary positions at the Kickers until 2008 on July 4 board member was. On July 15, 2009, he took over the office of President, succeeding Dirk Eichelbaum, the 34th President in the history of the association.
In 1994 he also took over the management of R & H Schmid as one of the descendants of the family.
Edgar Kurz is married to Sylvia and is a father of three. His son Marco was coach of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and 1. FC Kaiserslautern , among others .
