Christian Bussi

Christian Bussi (born March 23, 1945 in Mont-de-Marsan ) is a former French car racing driver and racing team owner.

Career in motorsport

As with many French racing drivers, Christian Bussi has a close connection with the Le Mans 24-hour race . He made his first start in this endurance race in 1975 ; he last appeared in 1985 . In addition to his involvement in Le Mans, he competed in the sports car world championship in the late 1970s and early 1980s . Bussi ran his own racing team and started almost exclusively for it. In the first years he drove vehicles from Porsche , from 1982 with two models that were developed by his compatriot Jean Rondeau ; the Rondeau M382 and the Rondeau M482 .

His best result in Le Mans was finishing 15th in 1982 , in the M382 and with the two Belgians Pascal Witmeur and Bernard de Dryver as partners. In the sports car world championship, his best result was fourth in the 1981 Mugello 6-hour race .
