Edi Heilingbrunner is a former German ski jumper .

Career

Heilingbrunner made his international debut at the Four Hills Tournament in 1954/55 . Already in his first competition on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he achieved a good result with 17th place. After he reached 16th place at the end of the tour in Bischofshofen , he finished the tour with 563.9 points in 17th place overall. At the Four Hills Tournament in 1955/56 he only achieved 23rd place overall, but he achieved his best individual result with 14th place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen.

At the German Championships in Winterberg in 1961 , Heilingbrunner won the silver medal behind Georg Thoma, together with Helmut Reichertz and Wolfgang Happle . In December of the same year he then started his last Four Hills Tournament . He finished the Four Hills Tournament in 1961/62 as 58th in the overall standings and thus remained far behind the other tour results.
