Edickson Contreras Bracho (born October 11, 1990 in Cabimas ) is a Venezuelan water diver who competes in artificial and high diving as well as synchronized diving.

Contreras trains under Alfredo Borges and Wing Yu Hu at the swimming center in Barquisimeto , where he also studies communication science. He played his first international competitions at the Junior World Championships in Kuala Lumpur in 2006 , but he was eliminated from the 1-meter and 3-meter board after the preliminary fight. In the adult area, Contreras played his first title fights at the 2009 World Cup in Rome . He competed in the 10 m tower and synchronized jumping, but was eliminated again after his preliminary fights. He reached the finals for the first time at the Pan American Games 2011 in Guadalajara . He finished seventh on the 3 m board and in the 10 m synchronized jumping. Contreras won a quota place for the 2012 Olympic Games at the 2012 World Cup in London . There he finished 28th in qualification and did not reach the final.
