Luis García Pardo (1910–2006) and Adolfo Sommer Smith, who shaped the urban profile of Pocitos with his buildings, were responsible for the construction. The garden belonging to the building is a design by Roberto Burle Marx . There is also a sculpture by Germán Cabrera and a mural by Lino Dinetto on the building.
