Edina Kotsis (born June 27, 1990 ) is a Hungarian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 57 kilograms.

Kotsis has been participating in international competitions since 2005. Her first title fights in the adult area, she denied at the 2007 World Cup in Beijing , where she could reach the second round. In the same year she won her first international medal with silver at the European Junior Championships in Baku . The 2009 World Cup in Copenhagen was also successful . Kotsis moved into the quarter-finals and was only just eliminated from the future world champion Hou Yuzhuo . The following year she successfully defended her title at the European Junior Championships in Kharkiv . Kotsis achieved her greatest sporting success so far at the 2012 European Championships in Manchester . She made it to the finals and defeated local hero Jade Jones , among others . With silver, she finally won her first adult medal in international championships.

In Chelyabinsk, Russia, she was defeated by the later runner-up world champion Eva Calvo from Spain at the 2015 Taekwondo World Championships in the semifinals and thus won a bronze medal.
