Hou Yuzhuo ( Chinese  侯玉琢 , Pinyin Hóu Yùzhuó , born November 14, 1987 in Zhangjiakou ) is a Chinese Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 57 kilograms.

Hou played her first international title fights at the 2004 Junior World Championships in Suncheon . In the class up to 59 kilograms she reached the final against Veronica Calabrese and won silver. In the adult sector, it was only able to prevail against the national competition in 2009. She started at the 2009 World Championships in Copenhagen , reached the finals in the class up to 57 kilograms with five wins, where she met Calabrese again. This time, Hou remained victorious and won her first world title. The following year was also successful. At the Asian Championships in Astana and the Asian Games in Guangzhou she reached the final and won silver. Hou was able to successfully defend the world title at the 2011 World Cup in Gyeongju . In the final this time she narrowly beat Jade Jones . In Shenzhen she won another silver medal at the Universiade ; she only lost in the final against Marlène Harnois .

At the 2011 international Olympic qualification tournament in Baku , Hou reached the final and secured participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London . There she made it to the final, but then lost to the British Jade Jones with 4: 6 points. Thus, Hou won a silver medal in her first Olympic Games.
