Edita Stanislavovna Pjecha (Polish Edyta Piecha , Russian Эдита Станиславовна Пьеха , scientific. Transliteration Edita Stanislavovna P'echa , in the French form of the name Edith-Marie Pierha * 31 July 1937 in Noyelles-sous-Lens , Pas-de-Calais , France ) is a Russian pop and esteemed singer.

Life

Her parents Stanisław and Felicia Piecha came to France as guest workers from Poland . She grew up in a mining village because her father worked in a mine. In 1945 she returned to Poland with her mother. She lived in Boguszów in Silesia and graduated from the pedagogical high school in Wałbrzych . In 1955 she went to Leningrad to where psychology study.

Edita Pjecha has been married three times and is divorced from all three husbands. The divorce from her third husband, Vladimir Polyakov, was in 2005. Her first marriage brought her daughter Ilona .

At times she worked with the Druzhba ensemble ("friendship"). In 1988 she was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR .

Edita Pjecha is fluent in Polish , Russian , French and German . Today she lives in Saint Petersburg .

Her grandson Stas Pjecha (* 1980) is also a successful pop singer.

In May 2012 a sampler of your song Nash Sosed was able to storm the Dutch charts under the title Da Bop , it reached number 4 in the single charts and number 1 in the dance charts. He also reached number 61 in the Belgian charts.

In June 2012 the song was also released in Germany.
