Edith Mamani gained her first international experience in 2016 at the U23 South American Championships in Lima , where she finished sixth in the obstacle course in 11: 12.12 minutes. In 2018 she took part in the South American Games in Cochabamba , where she won the silver medal behind Peruvian Rina Cjuro in 10: 59.06 minutes and finished sixth in the 1,500-meter run in 4: 46.48 minutes. She then finished tenth in the 3000 meter run at the Ibero-American Championships in Trujillo in 9: 34.79 minutes and seventh in the obstacle course in 10: 25.22 minutes. In 2019 she reached eighth place in the obstacle course at the South American Championships in Lima with 10: 18.40 min and finished ninth in the 5000 meter run in 16: 42.77 min. In the following year, she won the silver medal in the 3000 meter run in 10: 00.72 minutes at the first indoor South American championships in Cochabamba and came fourth in the 1500 meters in 4: 42.67 minutes.
In 2015 and 2016 Mamani became Bolivian champion in the obstacle course and in 2019 over 800 meters.
