Edith Peter (born February 19, 1958 in Alberschwende / Vorarlberg ) is a former Austrian ski racer .

In her first World Cup season 1978/79, the downhill specialist achieved numerous top ten results. As the best result, she was able to achieve 4th place in Pfronten . At the end of the season she was seventh in the Downhill World Cup. She had to pause the 1979/80 season due to an injury before returning to the World Cup again in the following season. So she achieved 4th place as the best result of the season in Pfronten. In total, she finished in the top ten nine times. A serious knee injury that she sustained on the descent from Haus im Ennstal forced her to resign in 1981.
