Edmund Hansen (cyclist)
Edmund Carl Marius Møller Hansen (born September 9, 1900 in Odense , † May 26, 1995 in Copenhagen ) was a Danish track cyclist .
In 1923 Edmund Hansen was the Scandinavian champion over ten kilometers, and over one kilometer he finished second. The following year he was able to win both disciplines at the Scandinavian championships and was also Danish champion in the amateur sprint . In the same year he started in three disciplines at the Olympic Games in Paris : he did not finish the race over 50 kilometers, in the team pursuit he was sixth with Willy Falck Hansen , Erik Kjeldsen and Oscar Guldager . In a tandem racehe won the silver medal together with Falck Hansen. In 1925 he was again Danish sprint champion and won the sprint tournament for the Aarhus GP of amateurs.
