Edmund Ruppert

Edmund Ruppert (born October 6, 1931 in Aachen ) is a German nuclear physicist . He lives in Bergisch Gladbach .

Life

After graduating from high school, Ruppert studied physics at RWTH Aachen . After graduating in physics in 1961, he joined the Interatom company in Bensberg , which was later taken over by Siemens AG . During this time he did his doctorate at the Technical University of Vienna . Ruppert is married and has three children. Since his retirement, he has dealt intensively with the industrial history of the Bergisches Land . He is also interested in club and sports history . In this context, he wrote more than 50 individual articles in the Rheinisch-Bergischer calendar . Then he created index volumes on all Rheinisch-Bergische calendars since 1950 and on the series of publications of the Bergisches Geschichtsverein Rhein-Berg eV "Heimat between Sülz and Dhünn" .
