Edmund Silberner

Edmund Silberner (born April 20, 1910 in Borysław , Galicia , † 1985 ) was a historian and researched and published mainly on economic history. He studied in Vienna , did his doctorate in Geneva , where he was a lecturer from 1939 to 1941, then went to Princeton, where he was a professor from 1946 to 1950, and then in 1951 he moved to the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . His estate is in the archives department of the National Library of Israel in Jerusalem.
