Edoardo Isella de Gómez Ventoza (born October 19, 1980 in Tuxtla Gutiérrez , Chiapas ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .
Life
At the beginning of his career as a professional footballer , the Mexican Isella played for the Belizean club Sagitún Independence and at the end of his active career he worked for three clubs in Mexico's other southern neighbor Guatemala ; most recently for the country's record champions, CSD Municipal . In the decade in between, he worked for various clubs in the first and second Mexican leagues , including the two major arch-rivals of Mexican football , Chivas and America . During his time at Chivas, he also made his only international appearance for the Mexican national soccer team in 2000 .
