Eduard Ameseder
Eduard Ameseder (born October 18, 1856 in Chernivtsi , † March 24, 1938 in Vienna ) was an Austrian painter .
Life
Eduard Ameseder attended the Vienna Art Academy from 1877 to 1884 , where he was a student of Eduard von Lichtenfels (1833–1913) and then continued his education with Gustav Schönleber (1851–1917) in Karlsruhe from 1887 to 1891 . From 1893 he stayed in Vienna permanently. Here he took part in the design of the Natural History Museum , was a member of the Künstlerhaus Wien and created numerous illustrations for works about the Austro-Hungarian monarchy .
