Eduard Haffner
Johann Samuel Eduard von Haffner (born 3 jul. / 15. August 1804 greg. In Riga ; † 1. jul. / 13. January 1889 greg. In Riga) was a Baltic German pedagogue and university rector.
Life
Eduard Haffner studied from 1823 to 1827 at the Imperial University of Dorpat theology and acquired in 1831 by Dr. phil. at the University of Rostock . Later he taught himself at the university in Dorpat and was the rectorate there from 1851 to 1858.
