Eduard Heinrich von Geldern

Eduard Heinrich von Geldern (from 1846: von Geldern-Crispendorf ) (born June 13, 1806 in Lobenstein , † October 4, 1866 in Matzdorf ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and Minister of State in Reuss younger line .

Eduard Heinrich von Geldern, who was a Protestant denomination, studied law and completed his studies with a doctorate in law. jur. from. Until 1841 he worked in the Prussian administrative service and from 1841 in the central administrative service Reuss-Schleiz. 1854–1861 he was Real Privy Councilor and Minister of State in Reuss Younger Line.

Under the government of Prince Heinrich LXVII. As Minister of State in 1856 he pushed through an amendment to the constitution in the reactionary sense of the state parliament.

Ludwig von Geldern (1834-1892), later district administrator in Stuhm and Saarbrücken, as well as deputy of the district president in Trier, was a son of Eduard Heinrich von Geldern from his marriage to Agnes Sidonie von Geldern, née Fritz.
