Eduard Rahn

Eduard Ludwig Rahn (born March 22, 1827 in Breslau ; † May 17, 1863 Glatz ) was a German lawyer and politician . He was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives (1862–1863).

Life

Born as the son of a pastor and provost, Rahn studied law in Breslau, Heidelberg and Berlin from 1845 after attending the Elisabet Gymnasium in Breslau . After he was active in his school days at the Teutonia student association in Breslau , he became a member of the Raczeks Breslau fraternity during his studies in 1845 and of the Teutonia Heidelberg fraternity in 1846 . In 1846 he was a co-founder of the old Heidelberg fraternity Franconia . After graduating, he became an auscultator in 1848 and trainee lawyer at the Higher Regional Court in Breslau in 1850 . After stationing at the appellate court in Glogau in 1850 , he became assessor at the appellate court in Breslau in 1854 and in the same year a district judge in Frankenstein . In 1857 he became a district judge in Glatz. In 1862 he became a member of the Progressive Party in the Prussian House of Representatives (constituency 7 / Breslau).
