Eduard Schilke

Eduard Schilke (born January 11, 1892 in Danzig ; † unknown) was a German politician ( Center Party , CDU ) and a member of the Danzig and Saxony-Anhalt Landtag .

Life

Eduard Schilke attended the community school and then the municipal high school in Danzig up to Obersekunda. He worked in the higher justice service and in February 1914 passed the examination to become a judicial secretary. During the First World War he did military service and then worked as a judicial inspector at the Gdansk District Court and Gdansk District Court . From June 1931 he was chairman of the state labor office in Danzig.

Politically, he belonged to the Center Party and was a member of the Constituent Assembly and the People's Day of the Free City of Danzig from 1919 to October 1930 .

With the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, he was removed from office and could not continue his political work. In September 1945, after fleeing Danzig, he arrived in Salzwedel and joined the CDU there. In March 1947 he was elected to the district council by the district council.

On April 15, 1947 he moved to the state parliament after Erich Fascher left. After fleeing to the free West, MP Leopold Becker (CDU) applied for the removal of his seat in the state parliament on February 25, 1950 .
