Eduard Schreiber (politician, 1876)

Eduard Schreiber (born August 14, 1876 in Hanau ; † July 31, 1945 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Life

Schreiber was born the son of a former. After attending elementary school, he worked as a gold worker and jewelry fitter in Hanau. In the early 1920s he became a member of the Chamber of Crafts for the Kassel administrative region .

Schreiber joined the SPD and was a city councilor in Hanau from 1910 to 1916 and again from 1919 to 1921. From 1919 to 1921 he was a member of the Prussian Constitutional Assembly for Hessen-Nassau . In February 1921 he was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which he was a member until 1924. In parliament he represented constituency 13 (Hessen-Nassau). From 1930 to 1932 he was a member of the Kassel Municipal Parliament and the Provincial Parliament of the Hesse-Nassau Province .
