Eduardas Jonas Monkevičius
Eduardas Jonas Monkevičius (born January 20, 1938 in Pavenčiai, Kuršėnai ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, judge , agricultural lawyer , professor at the Mykolas Romer University .
biography
After graduating from high school, he studied law at Vilnius University in 1965 and received his doctorate in Moscow from 1978 as a candidate for law. He worked as a professor at Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas and other cities.
From 1992 to 1996 he was a lawyer and from 1996 to 2008 a judge in the civil matters department of the Kaunas District Court . He has been a professor at Lietuvos teisės akademija since 1999 ( Lietuvos teisės universitetas since 2000 , Mykolo Romerio universitetas since 2004 ) and professor since 2007.
