Edward Ajado

Edward Ajado ( Edward Alabi Ajado ; born March 1, 1929 - December 26, 1980 in Lagos ) was a Nigerian sprinter .

At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he was eliminated over 100 m and 200 m in the preliminary run.

In 1954, he finished fourth over 100 yards at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver with his personal best of 9.7s, and won silver in the Nigerian 4-by-110-yard relay.

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 , he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m; in the 4 x 100 meter relay , he was disqualified with the Nigerian team in the preliminary run.
