Eefje Boons (born July 18, 1994 in Deventer ) is a Dutch athlete who specializes in the 100 meter hurdles .

Athletic career

In 2013, Eefje Boons started at the Junior European Championships in Rieti, Italy with the Dutch 4 x 100 meter relay and won the bronze medal in a time of 44.22 s. In 2015 she made it to the final of the U23 European Championships , where she finished sixth. With the Dutch relay she just missed another medal in fourth. In 2016 she qualified for the European Championships in Amsterdam , where she was eliminated in the semi-finals. In 2017 she qualified at a Diamond League meeting in Lausanne with a new best time of under 13 seconds for the World Championships in London .

In 2016 she became Dutch champion and in 2013 indoor champion over 60 meter hurdles.
