Eeri Vahtra (born February 2, 1988 in Luua , then Estonian SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Estonian cross-country skier .

Career

Vahtra made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in January 2007 over 15 km classic in Otepää , which he finished in 54th place. With the Estonian relay he came in eighth place at the World Cup in Lahti in March 2010. At the beginning of February 2011, Vahtra scored 18th place at the Skiathlon in Rybinsk for the first time World Cup points and then took part in the World Championships in Oslo . There he was 41st in the skiathlon and finished 42nd in the 50 km mass start race in freestyle. In February 2013 Vahtra reached a podium in the Scandinavian Cup with third place in the 20 km freestyle mass start race in Madona . At the 2013 World Championships in Val di Fiemme , Vahtra was 15th with the Estonian relay and finished 45th in the individual skiiathlon and 80th in the 15 km freestyle.

In December 2010 Vahtra became the Estonian champion.

Personal

Vahtra married the Estonian cross-country skier Kaija Udras in 2011 , with whom he has a son.
