Efly was a Maltese airline based in Luqa and based at Malta Airport .
history
The airline was founded in 2009 and started scheduled flight operations between Malta and Catania with a BAe 146-300 on September 19, 2009, the route network should also be expanded to include London-Gatwick, according to plans. However, the Catania-Malta route was discontinued after a short time, on November 5, 2009, and the one to London not even started. Since then, Efly has focused on charter flights and the wet lease sector. It has meanwhile ceased operations and there are no more aircraft registered on it.
