Medavia (actually Mediterranean Aviation Co. Ltd. ) is a Maltese airline based in Luqa and based at Malta Airport .

history

Medavia was founded in 1978 and is registered in Malta. It began flight operations in September 1979 and is 51 percent owned by Libyan Arab Maltese Holding , Air Malta with 25 percent and Libyan Arab Foreign Investment with 24 percent.

Services

Medavia mainly operates charter flights and offers leasing of its fleet. Customers are for example the oil industry and VIPs . In addition to aircraft maintenance and repair , as well as business charter offered.
