Egerton Rudolph Richardson (born August 15, 1912 in Saint Catherine , † October 9, 1988 in Kingston (Jamaica) ) was a Jamaican diplomat .

Life

Egerton Rudolph Richardson was a graduate of Oxford University and joined the British Colonial Authority in 1933.

From 1962 to September 12, 1967 and from 1981 to 1984 he was the permanent representative of the Jamaican government at the UN headquarters in New York City . From September 12, 1967 to October 2, 1972, he was ambassador to Washington, DC

He was survived by his wife Ivonne, a daughter and a son.
