Egon doer
Egon Macher (born June 13, 1924 in Leipzig , † October 2, 2008 in Münster ) was a German physician.
Egon Macher studied medicine in Tübingen, Jena and Heidelberg. He was professor of dermatology and venereology at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster and for many years director of the University Dermatology Clinic in Münster . Macher represented the field of dermatology in the Union of German Academies of Sciences ; He was a member of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts and the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina (since 1985).
He is the namesake of the Egon Macher Award, a young research award from the Dermatological Research Association (ADF).
