Egor Bogachev (born April 6, 1997 in Moscow ) is a German volleyball player . The outside attacker was three times German champion and was in the DVV Cup final in 2020. In the 2020/21 season he will play for the Russian first division club Yugra Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk .

Career

Bogachev came to Germany at the age of five. At the games of the then SCC Berlin he was active as a ball child and thus came to volleyball. In 2014 he started his first contract with Berlin Recycling Volleys . In the 2015/16 season, the outside attacker was active with double play rights for the VC Olympia Berlin junior team in the second division north and the BR Volleys. He also had this double right in the 2016/17 season, but was mainly used in the VC Olympia, which competed in the Bundesliga. Bogachev was the league's top five scorer. He then received a new three-year contract with Berlin Recycling Volleys. In 2017 he became German champions with the Berliners. In the summer, the outside attacker was nominated for the German senior national team for the first time , but missed the European championship in Poland due to a torn ligament . In the 2017/18 season he defended his title with the BR Volleys. In the following season, Berlin reached the semi-finals in the DVV Cup and again became German champions . Bogachev tore a cruciate ligament in his right knee in December 2018 , but returned to the field in March. In 2019, Bogachev switched to league competitor SWD Powervolleys Düren . In the DVV-Pokal 2019/20 he reached the final with the SWD Powervolleys, which the team lost to the Berlin Recycling Volleys. When the Bundesliga season was canceled shortly before the playoffs, Düren was in sixth place in the table. Then Bogachev moved to Russia to Yugra Samotlor Nizhnevartovsk .
