God of honor Friedrich Lindner

Honor god Friedrich Lindner (* 1733 in Schmolsin near Stolp in Western Pomerania ; † May 14, 1816 in Alt-Abgulden) was a German physician .

His parents were the consistorial councilor Georg Friedrich Lindner (1701-1747) and his wife Auguste Angelika Zeisich († May 18, 1784). He was a younger brother of the university professor Johann Gotthelf Lindner (1729–1776) and the older brother of Gottlob Immanuel Lindner (1734–1818).

Lindner had studied pharmacology at the University of Königsberg , where he received his doctorate in medicine in 1733. He then went to Courland and from then on worked as a general practitioner in Mitau . He died at the age of 83 on his Alt-Abgulden estate.

He married Henriette Marie Wirth (1744–1807) and was the father of the writer and journalist Friedrich Ludwig Lindner (1772–1845).
