Honor plaque of the Luftflotte 1

The honor plaque of Luftflotte 1 was a non-wearable award of the German Air Force during the Second World War , which was donated by Colonel General Alfred Keller , in his capacity as Commander in Chief of Luftflotte 1 , between 1940 and 1943 as recognition for special achievements in Luftflotte 1. They were also awarded for shooting down enemy aircraft.

The in Altsilber held coin with a diameter of 108 mm shows on its obverse an air force Eagle with empty catches, of a tape with the label between its wings 1941-42 shows. The eagle looks at a scrolling tape on the ground, which reflects the stations of Air Fleet 1 along with small graphics:

These graphics are surrounded by the inscription FOR SPECIAL SERVICES at the top and bottom left CHEF DER LUFTFLOTTE 1 A. KELLER (facsimile of the founder) in the middle and then on the right of it the reproduction of his military rank LIEUTENANT COLONEL .
