Name bearer
The following churches are traditionally called the Eifel Cathedral:
- Basilica of St. Potentinus, Felicius and Simplicius of the Steinfeld Monastery (built 1142 to 1150; Romanesque, baroque)
- Stiftskirche Kyllburg (built in the 13th / 14th centuries; Gothic)
- Monastery church in Himmerod (completed 1751; baroque)
- Village church of St. John the Baptist in Waxweiler (built around 1770; Baroque / Rococo)
- Village church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Niederbettingen (built in 1897; neo-Romanesque) by Johann Adam Rüppel
- Village church of St. Quirin and Dionysius (Langenfeld) (built 1895–1899; neo-Romanesque) based on plans by Gerhard Franz Langenberg
- St. Lambertus (Kalterherberg) , (built 1897–1901; neo-Romanesque)
- Erlöserkirche (Mirbach) (built 1902–1903; neo-Romanesque) near Wiesbaum
- Holy Cross Church (Wollersheim) (built in 1904; neo-Gothic), district of Nideggen
- St. Thomas village church in Houverath (built in 1913; neo-Romanesque), part of Bad Münstereifel
- Parish church St. Peter in Welschbillig built by the cathedral builder Reinhold Wirtz between 1888 and 1890 in neo-Gothic style.
- Parish church St. Martin in Biersdorf am See , designed by the Cologne builder Eduard Endler , vault and wall painting by the Munich painter Nicolaus Kraemer in 1927. Interior restoration in 1988.
Destroyed buildings
The Eifeldom of Hallschlag was destroyed in 1945, the successor to St. Nicholas Church receives this name only limited.
