Johann Adam Rüppel

Johann Adam Rüppel (born January 13, 1864 in Weibersbrunn ( Lower Franconia ), † January 1, 1930 in Stockstadt am Main ) was a German builder and architect who worked primarily in the field of Catholic sacred buildings.

Rüppel first studied at the building school in Würzburg and later continued his studies in Dresden and Leipzig . In Bonn he became an employee of the church builder Gerhard Franz Langenberg . After Langenberg's death, he took over his architectural office. In 1910 he moved to Mainz and in 1925 to Stockstadt am Main .

Works

Until the beginning of the First World War , Johann Adam Rüppel built mainly Catholic churches in the neo-Gothic style . After the war he turned to neo-baroque .
