The sailing dinghy Eikplast I is a cat-rigged sailing boat that was built in two versions in the GDR until 1989 by the VEB Eikboom Rostock shipyard . The Eikplast I has a rotatable wooden mast with a main sail without shrouds or a stage . The fuselage is made of glass fiber reinforced plastic (GRP) .

The successor to the Eikplast I is the Eikplast II .
