A Student Has Disappeared (English original title Just Another Missing Kid ) is a Canadian documentary about the search of relatives for the missing student Eric Wilson and their difficulties with the police and bureaucracy. The documentary was broadcast as part of the television series The Fifth Estate .

On July 10, 1978, the student Eric Wilson sets off from Ottawa by car for a five-day drive to a summer school in Boulder, Colorado . He called home four days later, from Nebraska , and promised to call back the next day. After his family no longer hears from him, a search by his father and brother in Nebraska is fruitless and the police do not take their concerns seriously, the family hires the private investigator Jim Conway. After two months he manages to convict Raymond Hatch and Bertram Davis as the murderers of Eric Wilson. Wilson had hitchhiked the two of them.
